Yewdale Cottage is a picturesque stone cottage – one of the oldest in St. Davids – with beautiful views across the Cathedral and the ruined Bishop’s Palace. It sleeps 6 people. Yewdale Cottage is a family home – we have sons and dogs so welcome well-behaved children and dogs! All beds have duvets. Bed linen and towels are included.
Downstairs:
Living Room/Dining Room: spacious living/dining room comfortably furnished with a three piece suite and easy chairs, a dining table and chairs to seat 6, and books, pictures and games. There is an open gas fire, central heating, reading lamps and a TV.
Kitchen: Modern, well-equipped galley kitchen with two under-counter fridges, dishwasher, microwave, five-burner, double-oven gas cooker; back door opening onto the rear patio and garden. Separate wash house on patio with automatic washer-dryer.
Bathroom: Attractive modern bathroom and power shower over bath.
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with a bespoke oak bed frame (small 4′ double) and window facing Cathedral.
Upstairs
Bedroom 2 (master): Double bedroom with basin, enjoying glorious views over the garden, the Cathedral and towards the rocky coastal outcrop of Carn Llidi.
Bedroom 3: Single bedroom with low beams.
Bedroom 4: Single bed in alcove, curtained off and with views over garden and surrounding countryside towards Carn Llidi.
WC: Toilet and washbasin with bidet.

General information:
Heating: Full gas central heating, with radiators in every room and a real gas fire in the living room – fuel is all inclusive.
Telephone: For incoming and 999 calls only.
Internet: Free wireless broadband is available.
Parking: There is ample parking immediately opposite Yewdale cottage.
Accessibility: The main bathroom and one bedroom are on the ground floor which is all on one level so ideal for those less able to manage stairs. There is a handrail on the stairs. There are three steps up with sturdy handrails from the patio to the garden. There is car-parking directly opposite the cottage with 5 disabled spaces.
Outside: Sheltered patio with washing line. Attractive private garden with garden furniture to seat 6 and delightful views. Side gate to the garden gives easy access for prams, dogs, etc., to the car park and the footpath down to Cathedral.
Cleaning/linen: All beds have duvets. Bed linen is included. The property is cleaned and beds made up before guests arrive. Towel’s are also included. The caretaker can be contacted in the rare event of any problem arising.
Arrival and departure:
The cottage will be available to guests from 4 pm on the day of arrival. Guests are requested to vacate the property by 10 am on the day of departure. The cottage is let on a Friday to Friday basis but short breaks or more flexible stays may be available. Please contact us for more information.

Discounts and costs:
• DOGS – 2 dogs are free. More than 2 dogs, £25 per animal per week. (Please state breed of dog when booking).
• 2+ week discount – Book 2 or more consecutive weeks for a £100 discount.
• 1 or 2 person discount – 10% discount during November to March, excluding Christmas and New Year.
