Being outdoors in St Davids

St Davids is such a special place, but no more so than when the sun is beating down. As with much of this country, the good weather opens up all sorts of possibilities that might seem a little difficult when it’s wet and windy.

Firstly, surf is definitely up so grab your surfboard and get involved. You can get surf lessons all over St Davids so go and explore the coast on your board!

Secondly, the cliff walks are absolutely gorgeous this time of year. So much flora and fauna are out in force and you might even find some wild horses up on the cliffs.

And lastly, it’s just fantastic weather to laze around on the beach and get that lovely golden tan topped up. Just make sure you wear sunscreen. The sun is sometimes hotter than you think due to the sea breeze.

So come on. Come to St Davids, Pembrokeshire and bask in the glory of the sun and nature.

We are all set for the summer!

As always, we are updating the cottage to make sure it’s as beautiful as possible for our guests.

Firstly, we’ve just had the landscape gardener in and they have done some wonderful work in getting the garden up to a high standard. We’ve planted new flowers and shrubs and it’s looking fantastic.

Secondly, we’ve given much of the cottage a good lick of paint. The walls now look as good as new and ready for our expectant guests.

And lastly, we have a brand new cooker all ready to go in. It will be state of the art and make cooking an even more pleasurable experience in the cottage.

So come and book, drop us an email or check out the website.

St Davids is a truly special place and somewhere you just have to visit!

Looking forward to Spring!

It’s that time of year where we can put away the tortoise box full of old bits of newspaper we’ve been sleeping in for the last four months! And there’s so much to keep us entertained during the months of spring.

Firstly, as it’s Wales, we have to talk about the sheep. There are lambs everywhere. They skip about and annoy their mothers who stand graciously in the field, eating grass and charcuterie.

There’s also the sun too, which you can see from almost anywhere in St Davids, providing there aren’t any clouds in the way. And then at nighttime the famous moon comes out. In Pembrokeshire we are treated to a wonderful display of moon.

Other things that are in the spring include :

Bikes, hats, the reemergence of chicken boy, salads and gloves left on gates.

You must come and visit. You’ll have an amazing time.
